TEWDI (Teso Women Development Initiatives)

Teso Women Development Initiatives (TEWDI) was founded in 2009 by a group of women concerned about the increasing levels of poverty, human rights violations especially for women and children and limited access to livelihood skills in poverty stricken areas.A community based non-governmental and non-profit organization registered with Soroti district local government, TEWDI is currently implementing development programs in 11 sub-counties of Soroti district in northeastern Uganda.
